Description
With over two decades practicing as an optometrist, Jennifer Hoang, OD, has advanced experience with an array of ophthalmic concepts and technologies. She cares for patients at Eyes on Hartz Optometry in Danville, California. After completing her bachelor’s degree in food science and technology at the University of California, Davis, Dr. Hoang was accepted into a competitive optometry program. She earned her doctorate of optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Patients of Dr. Hoang commend her caring and warm personality. She strives to be attentive and educate her patients by carefully explaining solutions without being overwhelming. If needed, Dr. Hoang even consults with ophthalmologists or other health care practitioners if a patient requires further medical treatment. While Dr. Hoang can diagnose and treat several types of eye diseases, she most regularly treats patients who have macular degeneration, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy, to name a few. She spends quality time with each patient to ensure any vision or eye health abnormalities are caught early on. Dr. Hoang is bilingual, speaking both English and Vietnamese.
